LG Power — Privacy Policy

LG Power is an Android app that turns your phone into a remote control for LG webOS TVs. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: LG Power does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers.

What the app stores

All data stays on your device, in the app's private storage. Specifically:

None of this is ever sent to the developer or to any third party. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Network access

LG Power communicates only with your own TV over your local Wi-Fi network, using the webOS control protocol. The Power button additionally uses your phone's infrared (IR) blaster to reach the TV. The app makes no connections to the internet or to any external service.

Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
